Babies are resilient.

So Davie's temperature got up to 104.6 degrees last night around 1:30am. The fever made her throw up. I was nearly in tears. But minutes later she was dancing in my lap as her skin nearly melted my pajama pants.

She does not have the flu. It's some kind of virus . . . I guess, the doctor didn't really know. She is not congested, not coughing, no tummy troubles. She is . . . delightful. A little lethargic. A little clingy. But delightful. She just has had a really high fever for more than 24 hours now.

I'll keep you updated. For now, she sleeps.

Oh my, Gracie had almost the same thing this week. I ended up taking her to the ER when hers went over 104 b/c I was so scared. They say it is just a bad viral infection b/c she was neg. for flu and RSV. She did get an inhaler for the wheeziness and coughing though. Did they tell you to alternate Tylenol and Motrin every 3 hrs.? That seems to really help the fever. Davie sounds like Gracie in that she doesn't usually act sick when she is.

First of all, hope Davie is all better! We have known for awhile and opted for the cautious route when it came to sharing the news. I found out at about 4 or 5 weeks, shared the news w/ parents at 9, family/friends at 10, work at 11, and facebook/blog world at 12!
